The Turner Foundation is a Vancouver based sustainable charity that was created to help bring basic necessities of life to the children of Africa. The Foundation was visualized after the second world war when the founder, Mr. Turner- who passed away in 2015 at the young age of 95- was working in Africa and saw first-hand, the lack of the basic necessities of life. Over the years, the Foundation assisted with various projects around Africa and it wasn’t until 2007 that the Turner Foundation started to focus on an area called Mtito Andei, a small town in Kenya located mid way between Nairobi and Mombasa. Over the years, Mr. Turner invested hundreds of thousands of dollars into this community and continues to do so.

With additional support, the Foundation can continue to have a meaningful and significant impact on children’s lives, by providing them with the necessities of life: clean water, food, and education.
